"It is our mission to help relieve the pain and suffering that the homeless experience by providing backpacks, socks, gloves, hats, nutrients such as granola or protein bars, sanitary items and hand warmers. These are the simple things in life we provide at no cost to homeless people in the various local communities. It is also our aim to bring greater public awareness to the plight of the homeless. We will have informational meetings and do local fundraising in order to provide and give relief and assistance to those suffering from homelessness. Regardless of their race, ethnicity, orientation, gender, disability, faith, or religion, we can make a difference.”

More information about Support the Soupman: We are a 501.3c charity... We help the homeless.
As you probably know, we've already purchased one portable shower which will be placed in Brockton, MA. 
We're now collecting funds for our second shower which will be going to Bangor, ME. Peter Kelleher is from ME, and his son Travis tragically passed in Bangor Maine. Peter is planning a trip to ME in the next month to deliver 1,500+ backpacks.  Stay tuned here for more details on that. In the meantime, we've updated a gofundme page specifically for the next shower. These showers cost almost $50,000 each.  Please consider donating to our next shower and share this post with any of your friends in Maine and beyond...
