I am Ron Carpenter, President of Support a Future Endeavor ( )
(SAFE), is a minority veteran owned non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is committed to strengthening communities by building and enhancing their capacity by providing free first responder training and medical kits that will stop bleeding and save lives. Gun violence from gangs and lone shooters is on the rise in our country. It is imperative that our communities know how to stop bleeding and sustain life until emergency services arrive. There are innocent lives lost every day in our communities nationwide due to lack of requisite basic first aid skills that stop bleeding and save lives. Help us change this paradigm.
I was born on the south side of Chicago and experienced first-hand the devastating effects of poverty with very limited opportunities. These negative effects lead to a culture of hopelessness and a mindset for failure. There is nothing more sad than a broken spirit that believes there is no hope; statements such as “don’t do drugs” or “don’t go to jail,” need to go hand in hand with concrete action that leads to opportunity for our kids. We all need to live in the service of our people. Those of us that made it out have a moral obligation to help because the more we know, the more we owe. Your contribution will allow us to:
-Provide free medical training and first aid kits to every person that attends training.
Your donation will train 500 Philadelphia parents, teachers and students in Bleeding Control and provide them a first aid kit. We will replicate this training nationwide.
