Sunburst Church of Self Realization

Thank you very much for taking the time to read about how the community of Sunburst has been negatively impacted by the recent rain storms and how you could help the community recover from the devastation of the floods. I hope to raise enough money to help with repairs of the roads, the buildings and shelter for the horses. Sunburst has been hit hard by the recent rains in California and I hope you can find it in your heart to help make a difference in their recovery!

My name is, April and I'm raising money to benefit Sunburst Community of Self-Realization. Any amount of donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me and so many others. Sunburst has helped many people in a variety of ways throughout the years. The storms that came through southern California have caused much damage to the land and property/buildings of Sunburst. I would like to give back to Sunburst and I'm asking for your help.

I'd like to give you a little history about how I came to know about Sunburst and why I am asking for help. I first came to Sunburst about 9 years ago. I attended a four-day retreat. What I did not know was how it was going to change my life. I will share that the person I was when I arrived was not the same person I was four days later when I left. It was like a miracle had happened. I received a spiritual shift that changed the direction of my life. In consideration of your time, I won't go into the details. The important thing to note is that Sunburst provided a positive and nurturing environment that contributed to the favorable impact I experienced. I have continued to experience spiritual growth and often came back to Sunburst for continued support and direction. I continue to meet people at Sunburst who have shared similar life-changing stories. Sunburst dedicates its mission to helping others. This stems from a desire of Divine service to others. To this day, they only accept donations for a meaningful variety of events and workshops they offer. They have year-round events dedicated to their mission of being passionate about exploring, implementing and sharing principles of regenerative Earth stewardship through permaculture and organic farming. Other events they offer include equine, labyrinth, astrological, music and nature events. Additional offerings are guided toward Body-Mind-Spirit regeneration and transformation while incorporating peace and harmony for adults and children. Several like-minded organizations join Sunburst throughout the year supporting workshops and education co-hosting a variety of events.

How does this fundraiser tie into all of the above? In the last few months, California has been hit with many rainstorms that have devastated many areas of the state. Sunburst, being one of them. The cost to replace and repair the land and facilities that were ruined during the floods are very high. Especially with the rising cost of what seems like everything these days. What was even more devastating was finding out that they did not have flood insurance like they thought they did. They found out it needed to be added as a separate clause. This they did not know. Now they are finding it difficult to make the necessary repairs to return to their usual service of helping others and all they offer due to this unaccounted-for financial strain.

If learning about Sunburst has touched your heart in any way and you would like to donate to help rebuild, it would mean a lot.
