We are raising funds for humanitarian aid in Sudan through the Sudan Relief Fund. Based in South Sudan and the Nuba Mountains of Sudan, with direct connections to volunteers and organizations supporting displaced families in the region. The collected funds will be sent directly to the Sudan Relief Fund via their secure online donation portal. Donations will be used for emergency food packages, clean water access, medical care, and shelter materials. All spending will be tracked and updates will be shared to ensure full transparency and accountability.

Hey everyone! I'm excited to announce my new fundraiser called "Stride for Sudan." The crisis in Sudan stems from a violent power struggle that erupted in April 2023 between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). This conflict has triggered a massive humanitarian disaster, resulting in widespread displacement, with millions forced to flee their homes, both within Sudan and to neighboring countries. The situation has also led to severe food insecurity, with parts of the country facing famine conditions, and a devastating impact on the civilian population, particularly women and children.

“Stride for Sudan” is a friendly challenge to encourage fitness and raise money for the Sudan Relief Fund, and I'd love for you to join me. I'm going to donate $5 for every mile I run. In addition, I will donate $1 for every mile you walk and $2 for every mile you run; just send me the proof. I hope you'll consider donating even if you don’t want to walk or run. Hi, I'm Jake, a high school student from Connecticut. After learning about the horrible situation in South Sudan, I decided to take action. After a violent civil war broke out from 1983 to 2005 between Sudan and South Sudan, and another from 2013 to 2018, the innocent people of South Sudan have struggled to afford food, educate their children, and receive adequate healthcare. Almost 8 million people in South Sudan suffer from food insecurity, which is almost 2 in every 3 men, women, and children. Countless floods and a history of internal violence have demolished villages, roads, and cities.
