Robbie's Mitzvah Project
Dear Family and Friends,
For my Mitzvah Project, I will be volunteering at an auction hosted by Student Advocacy. Student Advocacy is a non-profit organization that helps students who have disabilities and other problems that get in the way of their education. They provide a voice for these kids to get them the proper resources they need to succeed educationally. However, they need your help. I am attempting to raise $5,000 to help several students’ lives as they journey through their education.
This organization means a lot to me because my Grandma Karen has been working there for over twenty-five years. Last year, I went to its annual event known as the 'Overcoming the Odds' Awards Dinner, and I was able to see firsthand some of the lives that were changed significantly by Student Advocacy. This year, my grandfather, my dad and I will act as auctioneers for the dinner to help raise even more money. I want to do everything in my power to give the kids who must deal with these unfortunate roadblocks a good education. Will you help me?
