Chippenham Half for Swindon Town Community Foundation
In September I will be running the Chippenham Half Marathon in support of the Swindon Town Community Foundation an incredible foundation dedicated to improving lives through the power of football and sport. Their work reaches people of all ages, from young children to older adults, providing opportunities for education, physical activity, and social inclusion. They run vital projects that support mental well-being, disability inclusion, and employability skills, helping individuals build confidence and develop life-changing skills. Whether it's inspiring young people through school programs, supporting vulnerable groups, or promoting healthier lifestyles, the Foundation plays a huge role in bringing positive change to our community. . Swindon Town Football Club Community Foundation delivers a wide variety of projects and programmes that make a positive impact on over 30,000 people every year.
The Foundation endeavours to increase participation for people from 2 - 82 years of age, within Swindon and the surrounding areas. The programmes are delivered with the aims of engaging, participating and achieving, whilst delivering under the four key themes of Sports Participation, Education, Social Inclusion and Health. By fundraising, I hope to help them continue their amazing work and create lasting impact. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference!
