Stellar Academy for Dyslexics

Every day Stellar Academy http://www.stellaracademy.org/  in Newark CA is making a big difference in the lives of children with dyslexia. It is estimated that as high as 20% of the US population suffers from symptoms of dyslexia. Through our proven academic program, children are learning strategies to overcome language barriers in and out of the classroom, and build confidence to be successful in life. 

We are a 503 (c) non profit but through your generous support, we can continue to serve the community and equip our students for life success and encourage them to dream to achieve beyond the boundaries of dyslexia.

Join us for a day of golf as we fund-raise for Stellar Academy for Dyslexia on Saturday, October 20th, 9.45am at SkyWest Golf Course in Hayward, CA. Featuring a raffle and exciting prizes, it’s sure to be a family fun event celebrating a great cause and a one of a kind resource for families with dyslexic children.

The golf tournament is played in a 4 person scramble format (includes golf cart, lunch, and prizes). The donation amount for participating in the golf tournament is $125 per player (enter $125 / participant in 'Donate Now' here section).

If you or your organization would like to sponsor the golf tournament you can sponsor a specific hole on the golf course for a $500 donation (enter $500 / participant in 'Donate Now' here section)

Stellar Academy  receives no state or federal funding and relies completely on student tuition and private funding. All donations to Stellar Academy are considered tax deductible (No tax advice rendered. Please consult your tax advisor for tax treatment of donations).

If you would like to partner with Stellar Academy in supporting children with dyslexia please  participate in our Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday November 11 from 10AM-2PM @ SkyWest Golf Course in Hayward. The golf tournament is played in a 4 person scramble format (includes golf cart, lunch, and prizes). The donation amount for participating in the golf tournament is $125 per player.

If you can not attend the golf tournament you can donate in lieu of attending or participate in the raffle. Raffle prizes include a Mexico vacation rental, concert tickets, round of golf, and winetastings in Napa and Livermore Valleys. Raffle tickets are $5 each and are sequently numbered.
