Stay Strong Virginia

Stay Strong Virginia is taking its cause to the River! Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 22nd at 10 am when HOPE FLOATS happens on the James River. Donate, watch and participate - if you like - as Stay Strong Virginia floats the James until their goal of $5,000 is reached.  The shenanigans can be caught on Facebook via live video streaming throughout the day. If you would like to float - bring a tube and meet us at Pony Pasture for tube put in.  Have a friend available at Reedy Creek for take out.  

The reason for the plunge is to allow Stay Strong Virginia to bring the Body Positive to a school near you. The Body Positive - Love Your Body, Live Your Life is a powerful program that creates an atmosphere in which students are free from self-hatred, taught to value their beauty and talents, and use their energy and intellect to make a positive change in their own lives and in their community.

Stay Strong Virginia needs your help.  If we can get 50 people to reach out to 10 of their friends to make a tax-deductible donation of only $10.00 we can make this happen.  Larger donations will get us out of the River even faster!
