Phyllis Ormiston Tribute Fund for SVIA
Stamford was Phyllis' home for 55 years. Especially important to her were the connections she made with other community members as they made Stamford a great place to call home. Her work with the Stamford Village Improvement Association lead to a lasting impact on her town. Along with her best friend Bette McDowell, she launched the "flower barrel project" that lead to over 100 barrels lining the streets of Stamford. Thirty five years later, Stamford's visitors and residents still enjoy Phyllis and Bette's magic touch. Please join us in honoring her legacy of volunteerism with a donation to SVIA.

You can make a difference by donating today to the Stamford Village Improvement Association. SVIA's mission is to beautify the village of Stamford NY. We plant and maintain the flower barrels along Main St., purchase and maintain the holiday decoration and street flags, and plant and maintain Headwater's Memorial Park. We are a 501c3 organization comprised of all volunteers. Please consider supporting us as we make Stamford even more beautiful!
