WE are a group of Westhill High School students raising money( Among other things) to benefit Stamford Hospital, and any donation will help make an impact. Calling all Ashforth Family members!

In this time of crisis in our communities, and in particular the New York tri-state area where TAC calls home, many of us have been pitching in however we can (donating PPE, distributing meals, sheltering friends and family members), but are still looking to do more.  To that end, the Council has reached out to Stamford Hospital, a long-time fundraising partner of The Ashforth Company, to see where they have the most need.  The answer we received was simple – they need cash, and they need it urgently to purchase protective equipment and other supplies specific to COVID-19 treatment. 

Therefore, the Council is soliciting donations from family members through this GoFundMe page, so we can harness our combined power to make a significant impact.  All proceeds will go directly to the Stamford Hospital COVID-19 Pandemic Response Fund as a joint donation from the family.      

We understand that many of you may prefer to give to other organizations in your area, and participation in this effort is completely voluntary.  We picked Stamford Hospital because TAC is headquartered in Stamford, it is the hospital system used by many TAC employees, and the Company has partnered with them in the past (most notably for Hope in Motion, the walk/run to support Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center).  So give what you can – no amount is too small (or too big!).  We ask that, if you choose to contribute, you check the box to keep your identity anonymous during checkout, in which case only the Council administrators (Nick and Gardie) will be able to see your identity, and Nick and Gardie will only disclose the final total to the Family and Hospital.

Today, we are faced with a global health threat – right here at home.

As Stamford Health mobilizes all resources and activates its crisis plan, we have never needed the support of the communities we serve more than now. On a good day, Stamford Hospital operates on a tight budget and philanthropy has always made the difference.
