We hope that this message finds all in good health and good faith.  With the recent turn of events, our brothers and sisters have found themselves facing unusual economic hardships and unable to provide for their families.  Upon hearing of the increasing need for assistance from the congregation, our reverend fathers have decided to begin a Go Fund Me to collect donations exclusively for our brothers and sisters being affected by the novel Coronavirus.  Upon collection of generous donations, there will be a committee designated to dispersing the funds to assist those struggling to meet their basic needs.  We thank you for your compassion towards your fellow congregants and your generosity when giving.  

It is now, more than ever, that we must support each other and strengthen our faith, and together we shall overcome.  Please donate any amount as every penny counts, and please continue to pray for the service.

St. Abanoub & St. Antonios’ Coptic Orthodox Church in Bayonne NJ has been serving its community for the last 20 years. For ages, the Coptic Church has played a crucial role in tending to its community. It has been a hospital for the spiritually sick and a safe haven for those who are broken and astray. By the grace of God, the Church has grown to accommodate over 1,000 families and continues to expand. Because of this increase in congregation size, the Church is in need of continuing its construction that has been held up for lack of financial resources. This project involves the completion of the basement which will act as a place for children’s activities, Bible studies, Spiritual events, Gatherings, and Sunday school classes. Having this extra space will also allow the church to better accommodate services and programs that will keep our young teens off the streets. Therefore, the completion of the basement will provide the church with the necessary resources to continue to serve its community. The funds raised from this campaign will go directly to the construction of the Church basement. The current empty space will be transformed into multiple Sunday school rooms, a cafeteria, a kitchen, an auditorium, and a multipurpose room. Your donation will make a difference to those who are in need of guidance, the spiritual education of countless children, and the future of many of our youth.
