St Michael Lutheran Church (Micah's Backpack / Micah's Caring Initiative)

We are Hokies Helping Micha's Backpack! We are partnering with Micha's Backpack to help them fundraise for their non-profit. Micha's Backpack is a nonprofit organization that helps provide meals for students in the New River Valley that are unable to receive adequate meals outside of school. Our goal is to help Micha's Backpack gain awareness of their efforts, and to help them double their revenue from the previous calendar year!

Micah's Backpack is a charity based in Blacksburg, VA that raises money to provide food assistance to children that cannot access proper food security. Every Friday, the children associated with this charity receive a backpack that houses two breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.

We are raising money to help the hungry. This is for the Blacksburg High School club, Feast for a Cause.
