We welcome you to join the St. Mary & St. Antonious Church ministry as we look to upgrade and improve our IT infrastructure and to create a more seamless experience that will last for many years to come.
Our goal with this project is to drastically improve many of the ways our congregation interact with the Church, including our live streams, meeting the internet needs of our congregation, and bringing our beloved Woodward Ave. Church up to speed.
Your donations will help pay for:
- Mac Mini (Upgraded computer to handle the 60th Place YouTube stream . Our current computer keeps failing and needs to be consistently repaired. This device is designed to last for many years.)
- PTZ Cameras (Upgraded cameras for the stream in both Churches. We are currently stretching our current cameras as far as quality, and this camera will provide a clearer picture. We will move one of our current cameras to the 60th Place Servants Room downstairs to be used as needed.)
- Audio Mixer (Upgraded mixer to handle all the audio in the 60th Place Church. With it, we can create presets for all the microphones and control it remotely so that we can diagnose any issues quickly and from anywhere. If we're able to get this, we will take the current mixer and move it to the Basement Alter which is in need of a new audio system.)
- Microphones (New microphones. Unfortunately, our current microphones are beginning to fail and we are in need of replacements in both Churches that are designed to last.)
- Wireless Access Points (Adding these to both Churches will help boost the WiFi signal so that it covers more area.)
- Internet Switch (The current switch in the 60th Place Church is curretly failing and needs to be replace. Doing so will allow us to maintain and expand the internet situation in this Church.)
- HDMI Audio Splitter (Adding this to the 60th Place will enable us to get audio from the Apple TV (what we use to send the iPad picture to the screens). Will make instances like playing the Papal Addresses or lectures with audio easier to do instead of requiring additional setup.)
- Apple TV HD (The Church on Woodward Ave. is still relying on an outdated laptop for all it’s Liturgical needs. We’d like to replace this to enable us to use Coptic Reader.)
- IPad Air (Adding this to with Apple TV indicated on this list will allow us to use Coptic Reader for all out Liturgical needs in the Woodward Ave. Church.)
- Safe (Adding this to the 60th Place Church will help ensure that all microphones and iPads in the Church are stored in a secure location to protect them from theft or wanted damage.)
- Lock (Adding this to 60th Place Church to prevent unwanted access into IT room so that only people who are designated to use the equipment inside can get in.)
