BALD HEAD FOR BEER PEOPLE
10 years ago to the day, I started in craft beer with International Tap House in Chesterfield, MO. While we weren't the only game in town, and there weren't a ton of breweries, you could tell something was happening....soon. 10 years later and St. Louis is an out and out force in craft beer with some of the most wonderful people making some of the best beer on the planet. Yes, some of the best beer on the planet is coming right out of St. Louis.
While 10 years working for the same company usually comes with a celebration of sorts, this year finds myself and the craft beer community literally sitting at home. If we are lucky enough to be working, we are doing so in empty bars and breweries and hoping to sell enough to-go beer to keep our heads above water. Either way many of our beer sisters and brothers are currently out of work and not knowing if/when they'll ever get back.
Well, the St. Louis Brewers Heritage Foundation has set up a fund to help just those people: out of work craft beer folks. Find some more information right here: https://stlbeer.org/communitytransmission/
Why jump through the hoops of donating here? Well, if I can raise $1000, I will jump on the internet, stream on facebook live, and shave my freaking head. Bald. Shiny? I don't know about shiny...but this bad boy is gonna clean.
Here's to me looking like a bald freak.
NEW Incentives
