❤️Celebrating 30 Years of Love❤️

In January 2026, Karen and Gary will celebrate a very special milestone: 30 years of marriage. It’s a moment we are incredibly grateful for three decades of love, partnership, family, friendship, and shared memories.

As we mark this anniversary, we’d love to do so in a way that truly reflects what matters most to us.

Rather than gifts, we are inviting anyone who wishes to mark the occasion to consider making a discretionary donation to Moya Hospice (St Anne’s) a place that gave so much to our family when we needed it most.

Moya Hospice provided extraordinary care, dignity, compassion, and kindness to Paul and Paula Watson (Dad, Sister, Grandad, Auntie) during their courageous and deeply personal battles. The support they received went far beyond medical care, it brought comfort, reassurance, and humanity during the most challenging of times. It meant the world to our family, and it is something we will always be grateful for. We will miss them both deeply tonight, but they will always be in our hearts

This fundraiser is our way of saying thank you, and of helping ensure that Moya Hospice can continue to offer the same compassion, care, and support to other families facing similar journeys.

There is absolutely no expectation to donate, and any contribution big or small is genuinely appreciated. Your presence, your thoughts, and your support on our special evening mean more than we can ever say.

In October 2025, I will be taking on the Manchester Half Marathon for a cause incredibly close to my heart. In September 2024, I said goodbye to one of the most important people in my life my beloved Pappi , who we sadly lost to bowel cancer.

He was a man who gave his whole heart to those around him, never hesitating to go above and beyond to help others. He shaped me into the person I am today, and his love, kindness, and strength will forever inspire me.

This run is not only to honour his memory, but also to raise awareness of this devastating disease that affects so many lives. I have decided to create a GoFundMe page to raise money for one of the wonderful charities that cared for him with such compassion throughout his treatment.

Every donation I receive will be donated to St Ann’s Hospice.

Each contribution is a step closer to helping another family in their time of need and together, we can make a real difference. ❤️

In Loving Memory of Lorraine

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved mum, Lorraine.

Her warmth, humour, and kindness touched so many lives. Way more than we could have imagined.

Since Lozza’s initial cancer diagnosis five years ago, she’s gone about life as she always did; putting everyone else first, and being the greatest Nanna going, all whilst watching an unreal amount of crap TV.

For the last few months up until her passing, the district nursing team at St Ann’s Hospice had taken incredible care of her to make sure she was as comfortable as possible.

So, as per Lozza’s wishes, in lieu of flowers on the day of the service, we’re asking for donations to benefit St Ann's Hospice.

On Sunday 7 September I’m riding the red route of Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour de 4 to raise funds for St. Ann’s Hospice. St Ann’s made a real difference earlier this year to the final days of Cathy, my wonderful sister-in-law who was taken from us all far too young. The hospice only receives around a third of its funding from the NHS and anything you are able to give will make a real difference to this great cause. Thank you.

As many of you know, my mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2020 and during the most difficult 14 days at the end of her life she was supported by an incredible hospice team who ensured she had the most peaceful death possible.

Mum wanted me to give back to the place she spend those last days.

Every single member for staff who worked there and cared for mum, whether it be the doctors, nurses, volunteers every single person. The hospice team brought peace for her when she needed it most, and nothing was too much.

Mum has passed away but the care and comfort she received in her final days is something we’ll always be so so grateful for. The hospice provided not just medical care, but emotional support, helping us cope in ways that we will never forget.

To honor her memory and the impact the hospice had on our family, I’m asking for your support in donating to this incredible place. Your donations will help ensure that others who are facing the end of their lives can receive the same compassionate care my mum did.

Even the smallest donation makes a difference, and your kindness will help give others the comfort they deserve in their final days.

My Dad, Craig passed away at St Ann's Hospice after being cared for, for 7 weeks. My Dad had terminal cancer and lost his battle 2 years after diagnosis. My Dad was only 36 years old. Me, Kai age 8 and my little sister Neveah 3 and my Mum all miss him very much.

St Ann's had a play area and a big outdoor space we all got to enjoy while my Dad was there. We were all looked after by the staff, who served us meals, snacks, drinks and even ice creams and ice lollies.

I love making loom bands and want to make them to raise money for the hospice. Your donation will help families like ours. Thank you
