Get On the STATHS Bus Drive
Want to join us in making a difference? We need your help to raise US $50,000.00 to purchase a new bus for use by the current and future students at St. Andrew Technical High School, an inner-city school, which is located in West Kingston, Jamaica.
This "oasis in the desert" is located in an underserved community. The majority of its students are from homes with lower socio-economic means, but this little gem of Jamaica attracts students from across Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine and even St. Thomas as it is known for producing excellence in technical vocational education. This gem has shifted the life trajectory of many scholars from despair, unto pathways to success through academics, sports, the performing arts, technical vocational education, agriculture, science and technology.
The holistic nature of the curriculum involves exposing students to a plethora of experiences outside of the classroom, hence being able to safely transport scholars remains an important facet of the work of this institution. However, the financial status of the institution makes if challenging to purchase a bus as there are so many other needs that have taken precedence.
We have seen firsthand the safety issues with the current bus and have taken on the project to raise funds to purchase a new school bus.

The sole mandate of this charitable organization called St Andrew Technical High School Alumni Assoc Northeast Chapter Inc. is to give back to our high school and in so doing make a difference in the lives of present and future scholars.
