About Square Mile Community Development
Square Mile Community Development (mi2) brings holistic and innovative development projects to neglected neighborhoods through collaborative and empowerment based community partnerships designed to create opportunities and foster growth through education, health, housing, economic development, and spiritual care. Square Mile Community Development creates opportunity by building a network of community organizations, non-profits, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community members to revitalize underserved and economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. The primary area of focus is the San Jacinto neighborhood using a model of community empowerment and engagement to renew the historic heart of the Amarillo Community.
