Sports for Sound Partners with Ross Mountain BBQ - HeleneAid
Sports for Sound would like to take donations to fund a trip to Asheville, North Carolina November 3-7 to feed those that have been affected by Hurricane Helene. Ross Mountain BBQ is donating their time and food trailers to make and take food to serve the community. They are planning to feed 1000 people a day for 3 days (November 4th-6th), and then planning to make a second trip on November 27 to feed Thanksgiving meals on November 28th and 29th that will also plan to feed 1000 people each day.
Sports for Sound was started by Chase Ross. Chase Ross is the son of Jeff Ross who started Ross Mountain BBQ and has since sold the business to family friends Eric and Michelle Enold. On November 4 Eric and Michelle Enold and their two children along with Jeff and Amy Ross will make the drive on November 4th to Asheville to serve food.
Jeff Ross has a connection with Jonas Troyer from the Sugar Creek area who is currently in Asheville on his second trip feeding people. They are feeding 1000 people a day! So that's what we are going to be doing. It will take a lot of food and money.
Chase Ross has offered up the help of his nonprofit Sports for Sound to take donations, and they will be tax deductible to you. We promise that every PENNY that we receive will go towards helping feed residents and first responders.
We look forward to taking Ross Mountain to the mountains of North Carolina! Let's show these people some love!
