Supporting Special Olympics D.C. Golfers
Golf is a very important part of my life. Through working hard to improve my golf, I have learned how much discipline and determination factor into success in anything we choose to pursue. Golf brings me joy. I enjoy being outdoors and away from some of the things that bring me stress. I am very fortunate to be able to play golf and focus on it at a competitive level.
As I have become aware of the Special Olympics of DC Golf Program, I have learned of a group of golfers that are overcoming adversity every day through no fault of their own who enjoy golf as much as I do. The Special Olympics DC enables athletes to play golf and receive instruction at Langston Golf Course and East Potomac Park. These athletes have gone on to win medals at the Special Olympics, travel to cities they've never been to before, and expand themselves through golf the way I have been able to do.
I am inspired by these athletes and want to support those currently engaged and help encourage more athletes to join the Special Olympics golf community. Golf equipment is expensive and I am raising money to allow the golfers representing the DC Chapter of The Special Olympics at the 2026 Summer Games to be fitted with brand new equipment. Please help me enable these golfers to have everything they need to achieve their Olympic dreams. This success will lead to future success in passions they pursue. Having the right golf equipment is critical for a competitive golfer.
I am initially setting a fundraising goal of $2800. 100% of these funds will be used to buy new golf equipment for these inspiring athletes. Please donate what you can and I will provide updates to you on their journey to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota.
