About Space 4 Art

Space 4 Art serves as a crossroads where artists and innovators from different disciplines can come together to share ideas and experiences in an affordable and accessible place. We support creative centers where artists live, work, and interact with the community in an innovative and educational environment. Our guiding principle is to support emerging artists. The most basic need of emerging artists is to have affordable spaces in which to live and work. It is also vital for emerging artists to connect with other artists, both emerging and established, so that they can mentor and support each other in their creative endeavors and the development of their artistic careers. Our communal model supports artists, so they can stay in San Diego and work to benefit the entire community.
