About The Southwest Collective
Our mission is simple: Build a community among our neighborhoods. We break down barriers, borders and boundaries in order to build a community for all on the Southwest Side of Chicago. We connect families in need with the things they need, via our Freebies for Families events. We connect small businesses to each other, and to free resources to level the playing field among an area rife with corporate chains. We publish all information in dual languages, so no one is left out. If a wall stands in our way, we'll break it down.
