Southside Community Center

Hello! We are a group of passionate students from Texas State University, and we are launching this campaign to support Southside Community Center, a local non-profit that plays a vital role in the San Marcos community. For years, Southside has been a lifeline for low-income families and individuals, offering essential services like rapid housing, food, and financial assistance to those in need. Their mission is to uplift and empower vulnerable members of our community, ensuring they receive the support needed to overcome challenging circumstances.

What sets Southside Community Center apart is their holistic approach to addressing homelessness and poverty. They don’t just provide temporary relief; they work to create long-term stability for families by offering services that meet both immediate needs and provide a path to lasting change. From shelter and warm meals to critical resources, Southside creates an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Our goal is to raise $1100 to provide a high-quality, durable washing machine that will serve the center for years to come. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of people in need, ensuring they have access to one of life’s basic necessities. In addition to replacing the broken washing machine, any leftover funds will be used to support the center’s broader mission of providing resources and care to the unhoused community.
