Southern Vermont Therapeutic Riding

SVTRC has leased Carrot from Brookside Stables since early 2016. He has been reliable, safe, steady, strong, and sweet, basically the perfect equine partner for Equine Assisted Services. We have recently been given the option to purchase Carrot, so that he can be used exclusively for our program and therapeutic riding participants. If we cannot come up with the funds to purchase Carrot, we risk losing him altogether as Brookside will put him up for sale. They are giving us first option as they know how important he is to the success of so many of our participants.

We hope you will help us keep Carrot as part of the SVTRC family, so that he can continue to help us make an impact on the individuals we serve. $4,000 is the agreed purchase price. Anything raised beyond that amount will go towards our horse care fund, enabling SVTRC to provide quality veterinary and farrier care for Carrot and our two other equine partners, Bubbles and Duke.
