     As many of you know, I recently had the outstanding experience of being placed and trained with a guide dog at South Eastern Guide Dogs. Meeting and training with Buddy and the staff at S.E.G.D. was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The freedom that comes with having Buddy as my new eyes is indescribable. You all know I’ve never let my lack of vision slow me down, but having Buddy by my side has allowed me to live with a confidence and security I never thought I could attain.

     S.E.G.D. makes these miracles happen every day at absolutely no cost to the recipients. These dogs are heroes, but they are not just born, they are made. It takes years of training and careful breeding to make a hero. After all is said and done, these hero pups receive tens of thousands of dollars worth of training. After having my life transformed by S.E.G.D. and Buddy, I just couldn’t sit idly by without helping make this magic happen for more of the people who need it. Please help by donating to this Go-Fund-Me. 100% of the proceeds will go to South Eastern Guide Dogs and their quest to provide  dogs of the highest pedigree for people who are blind and for veterans at no cost ever!

Hi, my name is Ethan Rousso.
Due to my upcoming Bar Mitzvah, I am doing a mitzvah project, which involves me helping out with a certain cause, such as this one. For my mitzvah project, I will be raising money for a nonprofit organization called Southeastern Guide Dogs. Southeastern Guide Dogs’ mission is to raise puppies to become guide dogs, and form close partnerships between a blind individual and their guide dog. Currently, they have over 400 active partnerships.
For this cause, the goal I have set for myself to raise, is 1000 dollars in donations. This amount of money is the exact amount needed for the organization to be able to sponsor a dog in training. The more money that I am able to raise, the more dogs there will be, to find and create their partnership with their matched blind individual. The money raised goes solely to pay for dog which then comes at no charge to their blind partner.
