Please Help our Cycling Juniors

THE PROBLEM, insufficient funding due to in part to an extremely underfunded USA Cycling program. The current 2021 shortage is estimated at $70,000.
With the lead of Olympic Medalist Roy Knickman and Ryan Kelly, 9 Jr men and 9 Jr/U23 women now have the opportunity to race internationally. Without this opportunity, USA junior development is at best localized. The opportunity now includes a racing calendar of 10 UCI stage races, as well as multiple UCI one day races in 8 countries for the Summer and Fall of 2021.
Please help - forward this email to all cyclists in your network and contribute whatever you can.
A quick update on current plans for LUX / Sideshow p/b Specialized. After many early season race cancelations, racing is now coming online in the US. We are taking advantage of this and have a very full calendar for late May and June with LUX attending the following events.
May 20th – 21st Wind Tunnel Testing, California
May 29th – 31st Wild Boar Stage Race, Virginia – Jr Men
June 4th – 6th Tour of Walla Walla, Washington – Jr Men
June 5th – 6th Armed Forces Classic, Virginia – U23/Jr Women
June 11th – 13th Tulsa Tough, Oklahoma - U23/Jr Women
June 16th -19th Tour of America’s Dairy Lands, Wisconsin – Jr Women/Jr Men
June 17th – 20th Pro National Road Championships, Tennessee – U23 Women
June 22nd – 27th Tour of America’s Dairy Lands, Wisconsin – U23 Women
June 24th – 27th Jr National Road Championships, Florida - Jr Women/Jr Men
Moving past June, the Jr men will head to Europe to start their Summer European campaign while the women will race the Kirstin Armstrong TT/Boise Criterium weekend in Idaho and then go to the Intelligencia Cup series in Illinois.
Thank you for any efforts and donations in this matter. Without continued support we would not be able to offer these racing and life experiences to our athletes.
