Can you imagine being separated by deployment during the holiday season? 

Not only are our military service members willing to put their lives on the line to serve and protect our great country, but they also make many sacrifices that the rest of us may take for granted. They miss birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and sometimes even the birth of their child. Although we can't change the fact that they will be separated during life's big moments, we can help them remember that America is grateful for their service. 

One way to do that is to help them celebrate the holiday season.

Did you know that military and veteran families often forgo holiday celebrations due to the cost?

That's right. Our military and veteran families often go without a Christmas or other winter holiday celebration due to the financial burden it can cause for their family. These families live on meager wages and providing gifts or a holiday meal can be difficult, if not impossible.  

Would you be willing to stand up for them and show them that America is thinking of them?

Soldiers' Angels Adopt-A-Family program connects eligible military families with individuals, businesses, and organizations that are willing to "Adopt" the family and provide gifts for the children as well as a grocery gift card for the family to celebrate their holiday meal. 

However, every year there are families who are not able to get adopted in time to celebrate the season. Your donations to this campaign will allow Soldiers' Angels to provide last-minute gift cards to the family so they can still create a memorable celebration for their kids!

It doesn't matter if you can only give $5.00 or have the good fortune to be able to give $500.00, every cent donated to this program helps military and veteran families remember that they are appreciated and supported by the citizens they swore to protect.

$25-35 will provide gifts for one child
$50 provides a holiday meal for a small family (feeds 4-5)
$100 provides a holiday meal for a large family (feeds 6+)
$200 adopts a family to ensure they have food and gifts

Founded in 2003, Soldiers' Angels began with one mother whose deployed son said he was one of the few soldiers receiving care packages. She gathered friends & neighbors to help send packages to his entire platoon and soon realized how much more aid was needed. Volunteers and supporters have also made it possible for Soldiers' Angels to send tens of thousands of First Response Backpacks, voice-controlled/adaptive laptops to over 6,000 severely-wounded service members, and other technology that supports rehabilitation.
