We Need Your Help to Keep Going
Friends, we are in desperate need of funds to continue caring for the animals already in our rescue and to keep our programs running.
Every single one of our dogs receives full medical care — including dental care — which has skyrocketed in cost, even with a rescue discount. Our medical reptiles receive the same level of care, and those expenses have also continued to rise.
On top of that, a few of our dogs require professional grooming every 4–6 weeks to stay clean, comfortable, and healthy — and that alone can add up to a few hundred dollars each month.
Though we keep transports to a minimum, we also need fuel funds to keep our transport vehicle running — because without it, we can’t move animals to safety or to meet-n-greet events or to their forever homes.
We are deeply grateful for the generous donations of food, supplies, and equipment we receive — they make an incredible difference — but unfortunately, they can’t cover vet bills, medical treatments, grooming, or transport costs.
❤️ As we move into the season of giving, we’re asking our community to please consider making a donation to help us through this critical time. We rarely ask for financial support, but adoptions and donations have slowed drastically, and we’ve reached a point where we cannot continue without your help.
Every donation — no matter how big or small — makes a difference.
If you’re not in a position to give, you can still help us tremendously by sharing this GoFundMe to spread the word. The more people who see it, the more lives we can reach.
In care we currently have:
Dogs and reptiles who are healthy and ready for adoption (you can meet them on our website!)
Animals in medical recovery or behavioral rehab, who need months of care before they’re ready for adoption
“Serenity animals” (what other rescues call hospice) who will remain in our care for the rest of their lives and require ongoing medical support
Education ambassadors who help us teach compassion and responsible pet ownership — their care costs less, but they still add up
While our dogs share space and resources, our reptiles each require their own enclosures, heating, and lighting — which means our electricity costs alone are substantial.
Your support truly keeps us going — for them, and because of them.
From all of us to all of you, we say a heartfelt THANK YOU!
