Johnston Gurudwara Sahib Support
To ensure the safety of our congregants in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to place our regular weekly services at the Johnston Sikh Temple on hold in March this year. We are not certain at this point of time when it will be safe to resume the services.
Meanwhile, we keep incurring our operational costs—mortgage, priest’s salary and compensation, utilities—which approach $4000 every month and are supported via donations from the congregants. As a result, we have been running a deficit since we stopped holding regular weekly services.
This fundraising campaign is to help replenish the reserves for the Johnston Sikh Temple to continue supporting the community needs. We greatly appreciate your generosity.
