Run for Ebony: Support Sickle Cell Texas
We’re running the Houston Half Marathon in January, and we’re raising money for the Sickle Cell Association of Texas, in memory of our dear friend Ebony Lanier. She suffered from Sickle Cell her entire life and very much supported this organization. We recall the passion in her stories when she spoke about summer camps and the community she found with the Sickle Cell Association of Texas.
The race is just a few weeks from Ebony’s birthday, when she would have turned 40. We lost her suddenly in 2017 after an unexpected health event. We’d be so honored if you can support us and donate to a worthy cause our friend loved so much. ❤️
