To fully transform the new property into a divine and functional temple campus, several key upgrades are required. Your generous support will help us:
• Land acquisition for temple and prepare the main shrine for daily devotees worship
• Install the mandapams and deities according to Agama Shastra
• Create community gathering spaces for cultural, educational, and youth programs
Construct dedicated parking facilities to ensure safe and convenient access for all visitors during events and daily services

Our Journey So Far
• November 2023: The journey of Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple Balaalayam in Michigan began humbly in a small home in Farmington, MI.
• January 22, 2024: Balaalayam Prathistapana was performed with heartfelt devotion and active community involvement.
• April 18, 2024: The temple officially began operations as a Cultural and Spiritual Center in Farmington, MI.
• May 2025: After three years of collaboration with traditional artisans in India, the Vigrahams (deities) and mandapams arrived.
• June 8, 2025 (Vaikasi Visakam): On the auspicious birthday of Sri Subramanya Swamy, the Pratishtapana Kumbhabhishekam was performed with great devotion.
• June 8, 2025: The temple was formally inaugurated by the mayors of Farmington and Farmington Hills, MI.
• June 2025: Identified a larger property to serve as the permanent home for the growing temple community.
• The purchase price is $650,001. We have raised $250,001 through generous donations and are seeking additional support to cover the remaining amount for the land purchase, along with the funds needed for renovation.
