The Birthday Project Year 9: Shepherds Hope.
Hi there. My name is Wariku Gloria Semenitari, and I am the founder of the birthday project.
This is a yearly fundraising initiative, where or minimum of $500 is raised towards a charitable cause.
This year, the Birthday Project is honoured to support Shepherd’s Hope—a nonprofit providing free, quality healthcare to those without insurance or access to government programs.
One of the highest costs of living in the United States is healthcare.
Through a series of unfortunate events, this year I found myself needing surgery and having no insurance.
While researching solutions for myself,
I discovered Shepherd’s hope and frankly…they blew my mind.
With a wide range of completely free services from acute care to medication management, gynecological and dental services, physicals, treatment follow-ups etc.
To partnerships with major hospitals for surgical services, access to specialists in oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, and so much more.
They are a lifeline for so many.
What began as a faith based calling in 1996, now operates four clinics and has served over 300,000 people across the Central Florida region.

I’m proud to support Shepherd’s Hope, as the 9th recipient of the birthday project.
