Snoopy is a wonderful friendly pup that ended up in a small rural shelter in Cleburne Tx. Our rescue works closely with the shelter to assist when and where we can. Snoopy tested positive for heartworms which is literally a death sentence if not treated quickly enough. Snoopy is not able to be adopted until he has had the treatment he needs. Treatment varies with veterinary practices, but we are able to help get treatment at a lower cost. Right now we need to raise $600 to start Snoopy on a 3 month heartworm treatment process. We have a temporary foster who can keep him while he goes through this treatment. Once he has been treated he will be available for adoption but not until this longer expensive process has happened. Our rescue depends on donations and is not funded in any other way. This is a treatment that the shelter cannot afford and they don't have place to keep a dog for 3 months while treated. We need your help NOW! Lets make 2025 the year that no dog gets left behind and untreated for heartworms.

Founded in 2006, Shelter2Rescue Coalition (501c3) is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe rehoming of animals that are on euthanasia lists due to lack of space in low-traffic rural Texas shelters. Our rescue has saved over 8,000 dogs and cats.

Hashbrown is a sweet, funny, and playful Lab/Border Collie mix that is just 11 months old. She is at Cleburne shelter just waiting for a perfect adopter. We have to move her out by Tuesday, 8th October. We are networking all the dogs but must have a backup plan for them.

Tia is the most beautiful stunning black shepherd! Sadly she has heartworms and that is a death sentence to many in shelters.

Heartworms are totally treatable, but it requires a place for the dog to go for 3 months and the cost of treatment.

Tia is very smart, friendly and listens really well. She amazes us everyday we see her at the shelter.

We have a plan to help Tia but we need your help and donations. We have been trying to find her a foster home with no success just yet.

Plan B is to get her into boarding so we can start her treatment and then move her to a foster when it becomes available.

She is currently at Cleburne animal shelter, Cleburne Tx. We need to get her out of the shelter into boarding today so she wont be euthanized or someone else. Its a hard sad fact that dogs are dying like flies at shelters.

Mojo is a beautiful Boxer who was hit by a vehicle and left to suffer. Brought into Cleburne shelter in hopes of finding his owner with his buddy Motley (also a boxer). The boys owners were never found. Our rescue was alerted, and asked to help.

A visit to the Nolan River animal hospital for a x-ray to see what damage was done to Mojo's leg or hip. We knew that time was not on his side and he needed to get attention.

He certainly was a hit at Nolan River animal hospital. The staff were amazed at how sweet and friendly he was, especially when he was in pain.

Clearly there is a break! Wow, how painful.

What's next for Mojo? We are waiting to see what is the next best action for Mojo.

What we do know is that he is on pain meds to help him right now. He is being kept comfortable.

We need to raise funds to help the cost of fixing Mojo. He has a bunch of people in his corner to get his leg fixed and then see where he can go.

We are asking everyone to help Mojo by sharing the fundraiser and donating any amount to assist paying for his medical needs as we find out what is needed for him.

Angler is a sweet but a little shy and unsure. He is a small terrier mix with Shep/Aussie possibly. Just 5 months old. He is at Cleburne shelter just waiting for a perfect adopter.
