Josias Bako first arrived in a dusty, tree-covered land with a vision inspired by God. For weeks, he slept under a tree, wondering how he would minister to anyone in such a remote place. But he was obedient, and as people began to pass by, he shared a simple message: "Jesus loves you." Some listened; many walked on.

Today, more than ten years later, that lonely patch of earth has blossomed into a thriving community. That single act of faith has led to:

5 new churches established in surrounding villages.

Thousands of people hearing the Gospel and experiencing life-changing transformations.

A school and playground built on the very ground where Josias once slept.

Access to solar power and clean water for everyone in the area.

Pastor Josias and his team have created a beautiful, self-sustaining ministry. But their work is far from over. Today, a lack of reliable transportation is slowing their progress and putting lives at risk.

Using a motorcycle, Pastor Josias braves dangerous conditions—especially during the rainy season—to visit remote villages and share the Gospel. He is also the first point of contact for medical emergencies, often transporting people to the hospital on his unstable vehicle. The need for a safe, dependable truck is urgent for his family and the mission.

We are launching a campaign to raise $55k–$65k USD to purchase a new, reliable truck. This vehicle will not only ensure the safety of Pastor Josias and his family, but will also allow the ministry to reach more people, transport essential supplies, and respond to emergencies more effectively.
