Stand with Seward Pride Alliance
On June 8th there was a bomb threat made on Drag Story Hour at the library here in Seward, an event held by Seward Pride Alliance as part of Pride Week. As community members, business owners, and parents, we will not stand idly by and allow hatred, bigotry, and threats of violence in our community.
Kayak Adventures, Sunny Cove, Seward Alehouse, Flamingo Lounge, and Resurrect Art have all pledged to match up to $1,000 in donations each, with a goal of raising a total of $10,000 for Seward Pride Alliance. We are using GoFundMe to collect individual + business donations from the community, and will match at the end of the week.
