A Senitizo Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative

Greetings, we are a dedicated group of Senitizo supporters eager to introduce a new fundraising campaign for Senitizo, a 501(c)(3) humanitarian non-profit organization committed to delivering life-saving health services to communities with limited healthcare access in the Central African Republic (C.A.R.). While providing healthcare in remote regions is a significant challenge, recent technological advances are making it possible to achieve accurate diagnoses and treatments even in the most isolated villages.

Cervical cancer affects women worldwide, including those in the villages of C.A.R. Yet, early detection and treatment have been nearly unattainable—until now. Senitizo has an exceptional chance to acquire the "Iris" laser scope by Liger at a substantially reduced price. This innovative Screen-and-Treat device diagnoses and treats pre-cancerous and human tissue lesions on the cervix using thermal ablation. It includes two 19mm flat probes, one 19mm nipple probe, and one 16mm flat probe. Compact and portable, the Iris can be used in remote clinics or field settings, marking a remarkable advancement for these communities.

Senitizo’s established clinics across the region are ready to launch cervical cancer screening programmes, with medical staff receiving expert training to then educate others as more scopes become available.

So far, we have secured two (2) Iris laser scopes at $2,500 each, enabling rapid staff training. Yet, to extend this vital service to more clinics and staff who care for hundreds of women daily, we must acquire an additional eight scopes. At $2,500 each, our goal is to raise at least $20,000. We need your support to purchase these scopes before this cost-saving opportunity slips away!

We hope to find some generous individuals who will sponsor an Iris scope or that groups will collaborate to fund one.
