My Birthday is in August, and this year I'm asking for you to join me in supporting Second Chance Animal Services, Inc. They are headquartered in North Brookfield, MA, and also have locations in Worcester, Springfield, and Southbridge. If you are like me, and cry at the sight of those television commercials about animals in need, this is one way that you CAN help. You can give local animals the love and care they deserve, and help them thrive. As their website explains, this organization is devoted to finding permanent homes for animals in need and providing healthcare and essential veterinary services to abandoned pets and to animal parents who who can’t otherwise afford these services.

- Support spaying and neutering programs to prevent overpopulation.
- Offer low-cost veterinary services to ensure a healthy pet community.
