Are you a Friend Of Seattle Homeless Outreach? FO' SHO'!
WHO WE ARE:
Seattle Homeless Outreach (SHO) provides food, survival gear, and harm reduction supplies, to our most vulnerable neighbors and their pets and we need your help, friend!
SHO is an entirely volunteer-run organization which means no one is receiving a paycheck and our overhead is minimal. That also means we are a team of superhuman MacGyvers who have been repairing our outreach delivery supplies and operating with limited equipment. And because it's important to our organization that the vast majority of our donations be used to purchase supplies for our clients, we figured we would reach out with this direct ask to help us fund our organizational needs so you know exactly where your donation is going!
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Airpots: On every outreach we bring hot cocoa and hot water (to make instant soup, oatmeal, and coffee) to our clients. Our collection of nearly 30 airpots that we use to bring these hot liquids have fallen into serious disrepair and our MacGyver skills just can't keep them going.
For $1000 we can buy 28 new airpots, which means spending less time duct taping things back together and more efficiently serving our clients.
Backpacks: In addition to airpots, we also need more backpacks. Our volunteers are superhuman and carry large quantities of supplies to meet our clients where they are - literally. The SHO team has been operating with 6 worn down backpacks and in order to operate at full capacity, we really need 15 more.
For $1000 we can buy 15 new backpacks, which means our amazing volunteers can spend less time going back and forth to our cars and more time visiting with our clients.

Please help us be at our best so that we can continue to lend a hand to those less fortunate.
Every donation of $35 equates to a new airpot and every $60 is a new backpack.
