My name is Mike Tolaio. I am the Head Golf Coach for the Scotts Valley High School Boys Golf Program. I am reaching out to ask for your support on behalf of both the girls and boys golf programs at Scotts Valley High School.

Golf, unlike most sports at the high school level, does not bring in any money to the school. As a result, the school underfunds both the girls and boys golf programs.

Thus, we are left to our own devices to raise funds to pay for green fees, tournament fees, practice/warmup range balls, equipment and scholarship support funds for economically challenged students. To compound things, we are the only team in the league required to pay for green fees at our home course, which we share with three other schools - simply because our school is not located within the city limits.

Our goal is to raise $11,950 to support both the girls and boys golf programs at our high school. This money will be used to help offset our costs, develop our program, assist the student-athletes and better compete with other teams in our league.

If you find yourself being able to help out, we as coaches along with the players from both the girls and boys golf teams at Scotts Valley High School would GREATLY appreciate it!

Your donation will be tax deductible as it will be channeled through the Scotts Valley High School Falcon Club which is a 501.c 3 organization dedicated to supporting athletic programs at the high school. Your donation will be specifically earmarked for the girls and boys golf programs at SVHS.

Additionally, we have the incredible opportunity to attend a specialized cheer camp, where we will enhance our skills, learn new routines, and build stronger bonds as a team.

This support is crucial for us to perform at our best, not just on the sidelines, but also in competitions where we can showcase our hard work and school spirit.

Scotts Valley High School Track & Field team has a record number of runners who have qualified for the Nike Outdoor Nationals Track Meet this June. To date, there are at least 16 athletes who have qualified for at least one event at this prestigious meet. They will get to run on Hayward Field (home of the Oregon Ducks) where the Olympic Track & Field trials will be held later in June. This is not a school funded track meet, so these athletes' families are responsible for all of the meet and travel costs for the athletes and their coaches traveling to this meet. We are hoping to raise enough money to cover the entrance fees and travel costs for the coaches. Anything above and beyond will help cover the athletes' individual travel costs.
