Last year a group of our friends participated in a wiffle ball tournament for the late Travis Roy. Travis Roy was a Boston University hockey player. In 1995, 11 seconds into his first shift as a college hockey player he was injured. At just 20 years old Travis was paralyzed from his neck down.

In 1996, Travis started the “Travis Roy Foundation” partnering with SCIBoston to work with spinal cord injury survivors and help find a cure. In 2001, the foundation started a wiffle ball tournament that takes place at Little Fenway in Essex Junction, Vermont. The tournament alone has raised more than $7.5 million dollars in the last two decades!

This upcoming June, our friend group will be participating again in the TR 24 WIFFLEBALL TOURNAMENT ⚾️ Our team is politely asking for any donations, big or small. All contributions will go directly to SCIboston to benefit those impacted by spinal cord injuries. We want to thank Travis Roy, his family, and SCIboston for letting us be part of this absolute blast of a weekend!
