Help Danny raise money to build a school in Panama
Over February break, I will be traveling to Panama through the non-profit organization, School the World. I will help build a school for children living in extreme poverty.

To make this possible, School the World tasks all volunteers to raise $4000. This money is used to fund the trip and to buy the materials needed to build the schools.

I would greatly appreciate any donations to reach my goal. There is no donation too big or too small—every dollar counts!

We're a local charity partnered with School The World: a Boston-based organization which raises funds for building schools in Latin America as well as providing sufficient educational tools to help enrich the learning of those living in poverty. Hello, my name is Sarah Henao! I'm a sophomore at Newton Country Day School and I'm raising money for a service trip called School The World where we build schools for children in rural villages of Central America. To give you a background, School the World is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded on the belief that empowerment begins with education. Our goal is to provide access to quality education to those living in the rural villages of Central America. Together with local governments, our partners and deeply engaged parents, we provide young children living in the poorest communities the opportunity to learn so that they can work towards a brighter future. Imagine a child who has a dream for the future, but the pandemic made it impossible to get an education because of unexpected poverty. This situation is not rare in the world, and children who cannot afford to go to school have more anxiety for their future. Byedu is supporting those children with their education through donations, cooperating with School the World (STW). We can make a difference for the children and reach a bright future.

By 2030, 300 million children worldwide will be unable to acquire basic literacy and numeracy skills unless additional solutions are implemented (United Nations, 2023. Retrieved from UN SDG Goal 4). It is necessary for individuals to take action to tackle this problem. Children can pursue their dreams and they can get a variety of job opportunities by getting an education.
