My name is Salvador Huerta, Founder and President of School Safety Institution, a nonprofit based in San Diego, CA. We are committed to one clear mission: to help prevent school shootings and make our schools safer, through community involvement, education, and action.
As a father and member of the community, I couldn’t stand by while tragedy after tragedy struck schools across our country. That’s why I created the School Safety Prevention Plan, a free, bilingual, step-by-step guide that empowers parents, educators, and communities to work together to protect our schools.
The plan is now complete, and we need your help to take the next step.
Your donation will help us:
* Print and distribute booklets of the plan in English and Spanish
* Promote the digital version nationwide through targeted outreach
* Cover costs like website hosting, materials, and local event participation
* Equip us with tools (canopy, table, digital devices) to reach more families in person.
We are a small, grassroots organization with a big goal: to put life-saving information into the hands of as many families as possible.
