Reese's Tribute: Saving Key Deer
In memory of Reese!
This is a cause very close to our hearts, as we always love seeing those little key deer whenever we are down in Key West. If not more awareness is created, these beautiful animals will be extinct in the next 50 years! So, my beautiful friend and artist Susanne is donating her time and talent to paint these concrete statues that will be installed in public places with important information on how to stop them from dying out. Our plaque will be in memory of Reese! (It’s like having a memorial bench at the park.) This would absolutely mean the world to me and give us a place to visit her!
In one more day, I will turn 40, and I had pictured my birthday very differently. The past year, I thought about all the amazing things I could do to celebrate this milestone, and now I will just be thinking of Reese! I don’t wish for any presents; just a small donation would make my day, despite it all, very special!! I appreciate all the kind words and love from everyone!
