Savannah Backpack Mission 2025
Savannah Backpack Mission Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2021 by me, Lilli Apt, to raise money for children attending local city summer camps. The funds are used to buy drawstring backpacks and water bottles. Last year SBM raised $10,967 and was able to distribute 650 backpacks and water bottles. 98% of the children who attend these camps qualify for free school lunches. Many of the children come to these camps using a plastic shopping bag to hold their belongings.
We are hoping our fifth year will be just as successful. My brother, Will, has been getting more involved as he gets older and will be by my side helping out.
