It is time to once again raise the funds needed to be able to provide the Shannon Hinman Memorial Scholarship to a graduating senior at Potsdam High School. This award is given each year to a recipient that has demonstrated a clear and obvious love of both people and animals. The award is named after Shannon Hinman, a beloved member of the PCS Class of 1983, who died unexpectedly during the fall of her senior year.

The recipient will receive a cash scholarship, a beautiful plaque featuring a picture of Shannon bottle feeding a baby lamb that had been abandoned by its mother, and will have their name added to a permanent plaque on display in the Potsdam High School.

The award is given through the Sandstoner Foundation and all contributions are tax deductible.
