Hoda Sana is fundraising

Sana Foundation
The Sana Foundation organizes and conducts medical mission trips abroad. Staff from Skin Cancer Specialists attend an annual medical mission trip to Chihuahua, Mexico. Participants triage and treat dermatology conditions as well as perform skin cancer surgery for predominately Mennonite German and Terra Mara Indians. Due the Mennonites’ ancestry, they have very fair skin complexion; which makes them prone to skin conditions. The Terra Mara Indians are an indigenous population that primarily live in caves in the surrounding mountains. For many Terra Mara Indians, we are the only medical facility they see each year; which makes our triage process critical. Last year, due to COVID-19 we were unable to go on our trip and our patients are desperate for help. Participants on the medical mission trip also assist Plastic Surgeons at the Guerrero Clinic with cleft palates for children and managing burn patients.
100% of every dollar goes directly toward patient care. Staff pays for all of their own expenses.
Our staff and the people of Guerrero greatly appreciate any contributions! THANK YOU!
