Kickstart the SFBALEES (Emerald Society) GAA Club
The San Francisco Bay Area Law Enforcement Emerald Society is a registered 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization based in San Francisco. The purpose of our organization is to unite all law enforcement personnel, clubs, and societies in order to strengthen and develop relations between those in the Police and Irish Communities.
Since 1998, the San Francisco Bay Area Law Enforcement Emerald Society has been involved in numerous benefits for deserving or needy community members, have sponsored many Children’s Christmas Parties at the United Irish Cultural Center, and have been instrumental in raising donations to help terminally ill children at UCSF.
This year, we are trying to broaden our connections with other Irish Organizations and are excited to announce that we are in the midst of forming a Gaelic Football Team and plan to join the San Francisco Gaelic Athletic Association. This would be a breakthrough accomplishment for us as NYPD is the only other law Enforcement GAA Club in the United States.
In an effort to successfully kick start our club and get our feet off the ground, we are seeking donations to help cover the cost of equipment, jerseys, registration, and insurance. This will help us in our preparations as we plan to enter the San Diego West Coast Sevens Tournament on Memorial Day Weekend.
We are also looking for a business to be our inaugural Club Sponsor. The business name will be advertised on our jerseys. If interested, please contact Kevin Lynch.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
