San Antonio Table Tennis Club

Have you ever played at the San Antonio Table Tennis Club? Or follow our tournament event on Social Media? Or perhaps know one of our dedicated members? If the answer was yes to any of these questions then you must know that San Antonio Table Tennis Club is a beautiful community that is really involved in growing table tennis.

For the past 10 years, our location inside Alamo Gymnastics was a lovely location that catered to players all levels from all over the United States and not only.  In the past couple of years, we've managed to bring a lot of new people to our community group, and now we got to the point that our 5-table facility is too small for the number of players that we have.

In order to keep our members happy, in order to be able to host larger USATT tournaments and other community events we need a larger home. With the help of a couple of excellent people, we've found an awesome facility that seems to be the next home of SATTC.

The facility requires some improvements in order to become a top-class table tennis facility, which includes adding lights and professional flooring as well as other table tennis equipment and furniture.

Our estimations are that we need $10,000-$15,000 to be able to give San Antonio Table Tennis its dream home.

Dear Friends, on March 16th we had to close the San Antonio Table Tennis Club due to the rapid spread of COVID-19. We took this decision thinking about our members their family and friends. We, the San Antonio Table Tennis Club management didn't have much of a choice when taking this decision. Unfortunately, like other small businesses we still have bills to pay and our current revenue is nowhere near enough so we can afford them.

We are asking everybody who played at our club, members, players that competed in our tournaments or people who just follow us from home to consider a donation so that way we can continue to provide the best table tennis environment to the San Antonio Metro Area.

Our small non-profit organization offers a lot of programs in order to promote table tennis in San Antonio. Throughout the years we offered: Free Coaching for Beginners, Free coaching for Kids, Beginners Tournaments, Summer Camps, Free Coaching for Veterans. In the past two years we ran 3 successful USATT Tournaments. We also had the 2019 Americas Ping Pong Qualifier at our club, which turned out to be a great event. In the past 2 years we served over 250 players at our club and we wish we can continue to grow.
