Salmon for Soldiers

This summer I had the privilege to learn about a unique program for veterans called, Salmon for Soldiers, while fishing with friends in Alaska. We were honored to be able to have dinner among this group of America's Heroes. Some with visible scars from their service and others whose scars could not be seen by the eye. It was an evening we will never forget. The Salmon for Soldiers organization is run by some of the most amazing, giving, and selfless individuals I have ever had the privilege to meet. We got to witness first hand how bringing our soldiers together for some fishing and fellowship can bring them such a wonderful diversion and a sense of normalcy. I was fortunate to be with a great group of friends and together we are now, Bakers Raising Dough for Soldiers.
