The Sacramento Area Fire Fighters Benevolent Fund is Local 522’s nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2010 (originally as the Sacramento Area Fire Fighters Widows and Orphans Fund).

In 2019, our nonprofit absorbed Local 522’s Behavioral Health Fund, Bera Cancer Fund, and the Luttig Fund to become Sacramento Area Fire Fighters Benevolent Fund. Together our various committees support Local 522 members and their families.
