Home for Newmans
Our Run4Water ministry has introduced me to amazing individuals and families around the globe; none more special than the Newman family. Jahdiel and Keturah, along with their 4 children (5 now) moved to Hancock county TN in 2017 to create a “beautiful space where their family can thrive”.
Our team helped the Newmans with a clean water tank (see picture) in 2018. Since then we have worked with, learned from and been inspired by this intentional family of faith and devotion.
In 2021 the Newmans sold their simple camper to invest in a single wide modular home. Tragically, February 14th their home burned, a total loss. When I called the Newmans to let them know (they were visiting family out of state), Mr Newmans first reaction was “praise God we weren’t home, praise God we had most of our clothes with us and praise God we all had our bibles with us”
We went to visit the home February 18th and the
only item not burned was a single page from a book (see picture). One line from the book read, “beautiful spaces where families are thriving”.
The value of the Newmans home is estimated to be between $13,000 and $17,000. Please help us provide this amazing family with a “beautiful space where their family can thrive once again”
